Interested candidates should send their curriculum vitae along with a writing sample to [email protected] All inquiries will remain confidential.
We are here to help injured workers. Candidates for this attorney position should be self-sufficient, motivated, and compassionate. The ability to multitask is important.
Candidates must be licensed to practice law in the United States. Although our firm is located in Louisiana, a Louisiana law license is not required because this is a remote position.
Strong writing skills are required…of course. Lawyers write. Typical DBA-related tasks include motion practice, post-hearing briefs, discovery responses, client communications, and case evaluation memos.
Willingness to travel is required. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, DBA attorneys traveled often. Not so much now. Still, we anticipate that our practice area will once again embrace travel to depositions, mediations, and formal hearings.
This position requires 1,800 billable hours per year. Salary is commensurate with experience.
